I was lucky enough to have two sweet teenagers from Pittsburgh help me out this summer with the kids while we got settled into our new home. I love you Isa and Tori! Come back!

Feileys Lemonade Stand!

I have to apologize for just now posting what we did with the money we raised while waiting for Feiley. Our original intention was to to buy blankets and clothes to take to Feileys orphange. However, we were told to not give gifts directly to the orphanage as the children there might not ever benefit from them. We were told to use an organized non profit group. So, we are happy to say that after months of research, we decided to sponsor a child in China who needs heart surgery, just as Feiley did. We have donated the money to Stephen Curtis Chapmans organization in China called "Show Hope". A child who needs open heart surgery will now be able to get it through our donation in Feileys name. We are so happy to be able to do this and know that the Lord will use the money to help an orphan who might not other wise live due to not being able to have the surgery. Thank you to everyone who helped give. You have helped save a childs life.

In the past month, Josh and Zach have raised about $250 more dollars! We did another lemonade stand at the beach and at home. This past Tuesday, I had a Southern Living fundraiser party and we raised about $200! Thank you to all who have helped with our fundraiser to buy clothes and blankets for Feileys orphan friends!

Update! The boys took "Feileys Lemonade Stand" to the beach house over vacation and raised $100 more dollars! Lets see how much we can raise before we travel to pick up Feiley!
Zach raised $50.00 in two days with his Lemonade stand to benefit the orphans in China. All money raised will go towards "blankies" for the children in Feiley's orphanage- Kunming Childrens Welfare Institute. Let us know if you would like to contribute! Thank you!!
