How God Loves Feiley

This is the verse the Lord gave me this morning as I was praying for Feiley. "Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west. I will say to the North, 'Give them up!' and to the south, 'Do not hold them back.' Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth - everyone who is called by my name, whom I created from my glory, whom I formed and made." Amen........

How we love Feiley

I have been thinking how fun and neat it is to have this blog. Its main purpose is to keep our family and friends up to date on our life and our adoption journey. While posting pictures on our everyday life is a wonderful way to see how we spend our time while we wait for our daughter, I also want Feiley to know how much we love her, how much the LORD loves her and I want to show her that. Showing her our love now isn't easy as she is clearly on the other side of the world, waiting for us to come get her. She does now have, we hope, the care package we sent her which includes a photo album of us, a blanket, and a doll. We also sent her foster family tea and cookies and thanked them for taking care of our daughter. We sent a disposable camera in hopes that her foster family will take pictures of Feiley and her life in China. We know she will have lots of questions as to what her life was like before she came to be with us and we hope to be able to show her through pictures. Please continue to pray for her, her health, her foster and birth family, and that she is home soon!

Home again!

We returned safely from the beach yesterday after spending 10 days with our wonderful friends the Deboths. I will post pictures as soon as Rob sends them to me seeing as his camera is much better than mine and he took most of the pictures.

Week 5 of Summer

Well, I have to say that I do not have any pictures from this week to post as my camera card was full and Chris was too busy to clear it off. We had a great week however as Chris's brother, wife and 4 kids were in town from Minnesota. We went to the zoo, played tennis every night, went out to eat, and just hung around. My one neice is 18 months old and so that was alot of fun spending time with a baby girl. She and Feiley are 10 weeks apart. I know they will be best buds. Now we are getting ready for beach trip #2 leaving Friday. I am ordering a mandarin cd and book to listen to on our way down. What else to do for 12 hours in a car besides movies and ds games? Signing off for now. ....

Weeks 3 & 4 of summer - First beach trip

"Riding the Waves"

Zach and his cousin Cade. Same age, same temperment, same whine, both adorable.

Hey mom. How many more pictures are you going to take of us? We'll give you a half smile. Thats all your going to get. Its been a long day and the dragonfly ate my inchworm.

"Girls Night Out" with sissies Leesa and Jenny. Tommy Bahama cafe, shopping, and no kids! We were happy campers.

Joshua surfing the waves. Those eyes kill me.

Weeks 3 & 4 of summer - First beach trip

Yes, we are at the beach, but Chris is obsessed with being on the boat and inlets. He is taking us to dinner on the waterway.

Here are the boys waiting patiently for there food. We were swewing off dragon flys and watching inchworms work there way up the beautiful tree we were sitting under. Then we all screamed when the dragonfly decided he was tired of waiting for his food also and decided to scoop up the inchworm in fly by fashion. Poor inchworm never made it home. This was on June 30th and the next day we found out we were LID on that day. Can't wait to make these memories with our Feiley!

Waiting for "little sis"!!

Sister Jenny and Luke.

Daddy and the boat. His new love.

Weeks 3 & 4 of summer - First beach trip

This was our first night selling Lemonade. My little Nephew Luke loved helping out.

The boys taking a "spagetti break" between making pitchers and pitchers of lemonade!

The beach area at our house can get really crowded at times so we found this little island we like to hang out at. We pack up for the day - food, drinks, tents, toys, and zum over by boat. Its like our own private island. The boys loved playing baseball with daddy and could hit the ball as hard as they wanted since we were the only ones around.

My little sis Jenny and her family with us on the island. We'll call it "Comfort Isle"

Josh hanging out in the dunes.
